Born May 1984 in Eastern Ontario, I grew up influenced by my artistic parents and hobbiest grandparents. Growing up on a farm I have loved being surrounded by nature and wildlife, admiring the freedom to explore and subtle beauty nature holds.

 

Having had a close relationship with my grandparents I often spent time in the summers at their house in Newmarket helping them garden. This is when my admiration for flowers and plants blossomed. These cherished moments are what drive me to keep creating and developing as an artist.

 

Although florals tend to be my focus I enjoy stepping outside of my comfort zone from time to time to explore other subjects as well as techniques.  Currently I am working on a new collection which I plan to show with my parents in Belleville at the end of 2015.

 

My goal is to continually push my limits and challenge myself to develop my techniques further and create pieces that reflect the emotions I possess while creating my art.
